Suzuki GB announces exciting new additions to its comprehensive range of ultimate four stroke outboards

Suzuki GB has announced the addition of three new outboard models to its range in the UK, which are all available to buy now.

Suzuki is known for manufacturing lightweight and compact four stroke outboards and the new DF100B is no different. Suzuki has focused on this important mid-range sector and successfully set out to create the lightest 100hp four stroke outboard available today.

At just 157kg, the new DF100B is 25kg lighter than the existing DF100A and 6kg lighter than the closest competitor model, making it the ideal power unit for a wide range of boats.

Suzuki has based the new DF100B on a proven design by using the same 1502cc engine unit as the DF70A/80A/90A models. However, it has added even more value to this new model by up-rating the ECM as well as adding a water detection fuel filter, which is designed to help protect the engine by alerting the driver when water is present in the fuel.

And the good news doesn’t end there. Suzuki GB is maintaining the price of this new model at the same level as the outgoing DF100A which starts from £9,595 (inc VAT).

The new DF60AVTL benefits from a specially engineered lower unit incorporating a large 2.42:1 gear ratio which means it can turn a larger 35.6 cm (14 inch) propeller. This makes it the perfect choice for powering large, heavy craft, particularly in the commercial sector.

The DF9.9B is the only four stroke outboard under ten horsepower to benefit from a lightweight battery-less electronic fuel injection, which delivers quicker starts, smoother operation, and more acceleration in all conditions.

All these great new additions to the range share Suzuki’s class leading marine outboard technologies. These include Suzuki Lean Burn, for the ultimate in fuel efficiency; Suzuki anti-corrosion protection paint system for long life on the water, and peace of mind with Suzuki’s excellent reputation for reliability, all backed by the five-year warranty for leisure use and Suzuki Marine Insurance options.

George Cheeseman, Head of Marine for Suzuki GB, said, “We are excited about introducing these new models to further enhance the choice that our customers have when looking to power their boats with Suzuki. We always want to give our customers the ultimate experience both on and off the water, which is why we are coupling our unique product benefits with a selection of strong customer-focused offers and initiatives including Suzuki Marine Finance and the Suzuki Marine Insurance Services scheme.”
