The Rope-Show will tour the UK’s sailing and yacht clubs to share everything a sailor needs to know about rope. This includes how to make an informed decision about rope management, maximising performance, splicing and general rope care tips.
To celebrate the launch of the Rope-Show, Marlow’s leisure marine rope expert, David Mossman, is offering an insight into some of the Rope Show content with a guest speaker slot on the Festival Stage on Saturday 15 and Wednesday 18, September from 1pm-1.45pm. Marlow will also be running daily splicing tutorials at its J300 stand in the Ocean Hall at 2pm and 5.30pm and will be joined by members of the British Sailing Team.

Leisure Marine Sales Director, Paul Honess, said: “As world leaders in rope manufacturing for the leisure marine industry we take our position seriously and our products even more so! Due to popular demand we are launching the Rope Show to share our technical knowledge with the wider sailing community. The response we’ve had from releasing our first year of dates has been fantastic. It is really encouraging to see sailing clubs joining forces to share their passion and knowledge and in doing so, helping to bring the sailing community together to make it a stronger industry as a whole. We are looking forward to getting on the road and meeting everybody in the upcoming months.”
