A new chandlery has opened its doors on Hayling island.
Boxmarine Chandlery offers a wide selection of chandlery items from well known marine brands, leisure equipment and a selection of boutique gifts from one of of the most picturesque locations on the South Coast.
Co founder Kate Steward said: “We are delighted to be opening our new chandlery here at MDL Northney Marina. Our shop location right at the heart of marina allows us to offer a wide selection of marine products to support both the MDL berth holders and the local boating community.
“The initial response since opening has been overwhelmingly positive from both the berth holders and visitors to the marina. Convenience plays a major part for boat owners who do not want the hassle of travelling further afield to acquire the items they need. We also offer a collection service for orders from our website www.boxmarine.co.uk.
“We are a family run business with a passion for sailing so understand the needs that the boating community require. We want our customers to feel welcomed and valued, priding ourselves on the high level of service we provide…. we are always happy to ‘go that extra mile’!
“When we began our chandlery business online a few year ago, it soon became apparent that having a physical retail destination that customers can come and discuss their boating requirements would add value. MDL Northney Marina on Haying was an ideal fit. The local area is full of boating clubs, sailing enthusiasts and a real passion for water sports. The shop now gives us an opportunity to showcase some of the great products and brands we have available.”
