An extremely appropriate toast when enjoying a pint (in a LeeSan logo’d “paper”, that’s a plastic-free cup to you and I) at the 2024 Crick Boat show. Crick Boat Show’s Real Ale & Cider Festival, sponsored by Lee Sanitation, is back for 2024 and is now across two bars. With a choice of 50 cask ales, 20 ciders and perries, and over 20 gins, it’s a great opportunity to relax with a drink or two and catch up with friends old and new.
Thanks to Lee Sanitation’s sponsorship, the bars are going plastic-free, with drink ‘papers’ instead of glasses, as well as further improvements to speed up service at busy times. The company have named two ales, “Khazi” and “Round the Bend” and two ciders, “Double Flush” and “Rhubarb Plunger” proving that the British sense of “Toilet Humour” is still alive and kicking!
The widest range of beers and ciders will be available on the Saturday and Sunday in The Crick Tavern. The large beer marquee will also hold the live music festival with acts throughout the afternoons and evenings so don’t leave it too late to visit for the greatest choice. It’s open for Crick ticket holders on Show days and late into the evenings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday and Sunday evenings, the VIP Marquee is transformed into The Crick Snug, a quiet, music-free bar for those who wish to enjoy an evening apart from the bustle and live music entertainment in the much larger Crick Tavern. Open to all with a ticket for that day, The Crick Snug will serve a smaller range of real ales, wines, ciders and soft drinks. Note that between 6pm and 8pm on Saturday, the tables in The Crick Snug are reserved for guests with a booking for Pie & Mash (sold out).
