National marina group boatfolk is inviting boating enthusiasts and curious newcomers to Portland Marina for its Boat Sales Open Weekends this spring, taking place across two consecutive weekends: 5 – 6 April and 12 – 13 April.
The open weekends are free to attend and offer the chance for prospective boat buyers to explore a wide range of new and used boats, meet with marine experts, and enjoy the buzz of the marina in full swing.
Partnering with boatfolk’s brokerage division, boatpoint, the events will feature an impressive lineup from brands including Jeanneau, Elan and Ryds, as well as used sail and motor boats to suit all budgets. There will also be expert advice on hand to help visitors navigate the buying process, whether they’re purchasing their first boat or upgrading to something new.
Boat owners looking to sell their boat at the event can take advantage of a special pre-event Scrub and Lift offer, available from £24 per metre, designed to ensure their vessel is looking its best and ready to make a great first impression with potential buyers.
Philip Jones, Group Boat Sales Manager for boatpoint, says: “These weekends are about so much more than just buying and selling – they’re about helping people take the next step in their boating journey. Whether that’s upgrading to a dream boat, dipping a toe into ownership for the first time, or deciding it’s time to sell, we’re here to guide people every step of the way.
“We’ll have a fantastic selection of boats on display, knowledgeable brokers on hand to answer questions, and exclusive event-only packages for sellers. There’s a real energy around the marina during these events, and we’re looking forward to welcoming people to be part of it.”
