Cowes Week Ltd has announced that Garmin® has renewed for a further year as the Official Weather Forecast Sponsor for Cowes Week 2025.
Garmin will once again support the event’s official meteorology service throughout the Regatta, providing competitors and visitors with regular updates on the current and expected conditions on the water. More detailed real-time weather information will also be supplied to the race management teams and course setters, enabling them to optimise race planning for the varying conditions across the Solent. Summary and detailed forecasts, together with live wind data, will be available through the official Cowes Week App and on the website at www.cowesweek.co.uk.
Garmin provides wind transducers and a variety of high-precision glass-bonded instrument displays specifically for sailing and racing. Additionally, Navionics®, a Garmin brand, will enhance the racing experience by incorporating temporary chart features for racing at Cowes Week.
