W&W Jewellery has collaborated with Sanlorenzo Yachts UK to co-design an exclusive jewellery concept that beautifully embodies the bespoke artistry of Sanlorenzo’s iconic creations.
Known for its exquisite bespoke jewellery services, W&W invited Sanlorenzo Yachts UK on a journey to curate a unique design inspired by the exacting detail of Sanlorenzo’s beautifully crafted motor yachts and luxury take on life at sea.
Sharing W&W Jewellery’s passion for distinctive style, exceptional design and impeccable craftsmanship, Sanlorenzo has been crafting bespoke motor yachts for over 60 years. Every Sanlorenzo yacht is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted to embody the essence of exclusivity and elegance whilst reflecting its clients’ individual styles and tastes.
The journey started at the 2024 British Motor Yacht Show, where the W&W team were given an exclusive tour of Sanlorenzo’s SL90A. Incorporating elements from this incredible vessel, W&W designer, Narell Mallée, created a series of responses centred around a vibrant blue oval zircon which perfectly captured the hues of the ocean.
The concept chosen from the collection was inspired by the signature curve of the SL90A’s bow. This gentle curved shape was translated into a platinum, blue zircon and diamond design, entitled The “Of the Sea” Necklace.
The piece focuses around a 6.50ct blue zircon held in a central bezel setting between sixty-six articulated and graduated platinum links inspired by the defined shape of the yacht’s bow. The links are set with over 350 Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds, totaling 3.50ct. The “Of the Sea” Necklace captures the essence of freedom on the open water, seamlessly blended with the luxury and sophistication that define a Sanlorenzo. A perfect balance of timeless beauty and contemporary style, this elegant piece has been designed to make a statement at any global destination.
Following a series of consultations and refinements, the final design was presented to Sanlorenzo Yachts UK in the form of a beautiful, framed painting of the piece.
